The problem faced is how to determine that the credit sharply conveys information on the potential debtor’s ability to pay off the loan.
The bank has appointed PT Equine Global to help them assess and determine reliable credit score as well as its provider.
Data science and data scientist is interdicipline of business acumen, statistics or math, and computer science, to assess the reliability of the credit score, we tested it using statistical methods which included hypothesis testing, T Test, Z Score, to Type I Error and Type II Error.
The results are very satisfying. The bank got a clear picture of how to test the reliability of the credit score, also how to calibrate the model of scores.
Even the credit score has been approved by the Financial Services Authority.
